EMMA CARLSON BERNE writes juvenile, middle grade and YA fiction, and nonfiction for both educational and trade publishers. She has worked on projects with Disney/Lucasfilm Press, American Girl Publishing, Simon & Schuster, Scholastic, Sterling Publishing, Capstone, Rosen, and Alloy Entertainment, among others. Berne lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she is the writer-in-residence for the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.

Victoria Granof is a Brooklyn-based food creative and stylist who earned her culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu. Cherry Bombe included her in their list of the 100 Most Inspiring Women in Food. She has worked on cookbooks with the likes of Marcus Samuelsson and Anthony Bourdain, and her work has appeared in Bon Appétit, New York magazine, and The New York Times, among others. However, some of her favorite clients include her college-age nieces, who look to her for easy and creative ways to give simple dorm-room meals an extra boost. Victoria is also the author of Chickpeas.

Danica Davidson is the critically acclaimed author of nineteen books for young readers, including twelve unofficial Minecrafter novels, manga art books, and the Holocaust memoir I Will Protect You, which she wrote with survivor Eva Mozes Kor. Davidson loves her dogs and cats, anime, and swinging on her swing while thinking up stories.
