In The Bee Who Spoke, we are introduced to Belle, an adventurous and inquisitive eleven-year-old girl who lives in Paris. Since the age of five Rebecca dreamed of being an illustrator, fed on a diet of picture books. Her ambition was realized after gaining a first class Honours degree from Liverpool when she was accepted at The Royal College of Art to study Illustration . Half way through the course she was spotted in Paris at a Children's book expo by a French agent. She has since worked all over the world for numerous clients but this is her first Children's book, which finally fulfills her childhood ambition. She is now represented by agents in Paris, New York, and London. Rebecca paints in watercolor, and bases her characters on the people she meets and sees on her daily travels…
