Punam Krishan

Dr Punam Krishan MBCHB MRCGP DFSRH is a practising NHS GP and media medic based in Scotland. Currently, Dr Punam is a resident GP on popular daytime shows BBC Morning Live and BBC Radio Scotland where she holds a phone in surgery covering anything and everything related to health and lifestyle.

As a mother to two young kids, she has a specialist interest in maternal and family health as well as mental health. Recognising a need to offer parents a real talking, easy-to-understand format when it comes to looking after their family needs, Punam set up The Medic Mum podcast during the COVID-19 pandemic with a fellow GP mother.
