Téa Mutonji

TÉA MUTONJI is a poet and fiction writer based in Toronto. She holds a degree in Media Studies and English from the University of Toronto, Scarborough, where she was the recipient of the Jasun Singh Memorial Prize in Creative Writing. Her short story collection, Shut Up You’re Pretty was selected by Vivek Shraya for VS. Books and published by Arsenal Pulp Press. It was shortlisted for the Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize and won the Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction and the Trillium Book Award.
