Turning thirty wasn’t as bad as people said it would be. But now that I’m heading towards my last year as a thirty-something, it’s really hit me how significant this decade can be in a person’s life. For me, my thirties included becoming a parent, which is the most life-altering experience I’ve had so far.
When I thought about my recommendations for books to read in your thirties, I wanted to list more than just fiction. So while I’ve included many of the novels I have read and adored in the past decade, you’ll also find books that are parenting or career focused.
This is by no means an authoritative or complete list, but it contains books that meant something to me, as a wife, a mother, a career-woman, and an avid reader.
